Latest News from Bailey’s Country Store
03/02/26
Well, the weather has certainly been keeping us on our toes lately! With all the exteme wet weather we’ve been having, and yet more road closures, we know getting out and about has not been the easiest or much fun. Can we take this chance to thank those who were patient, as we muddled through with no power for several days! The good news is we are fully stocked, and ready to welcome you – muddy boots, soggy dogs and all.
Fuel When You Need It
If you are running low, don’t forget we offer great fuel options here in store or for delivery. Something I do love about this time of year, (yes there are some benefits), is looking forward to getting home and lighting my woodburner and hibernating for the evening! If you are passing, it is so easy to pull up outside, we can load you up whilst you pop in store to see what else you might need.
You can find details of our fuels on our fuel page https://baileyscountrystore.co.uk/product-category/home-and-garden/fuel/
Hot Food, Cooked In Store
Need something easy and tasty to eat whilst you are out and about? Our lovely kitchen team make fresh food here in house, every day – perfect for taking away. We have homemade hot soups, freshly prepared sandwiches, our rather fabulous free-range pork sausage rolls, plus a tempting selection of cakes and traybakes if you fancy a treat. Our takeaway coffee is brewed with freshly ground beans from one of our local roasters Olfactory – All ideal for a quick lunch, and something to warm you up.
Fresh , Local & Seasonal
We are proud to keep our shelves filled with lovely fresh, local seasonal vegtables – proper flavour, grown the way it should be. Eating seasonally not only tastes better, it supports the brilliant growers right here in our community.
Super Local Meat
Our meat fridges are looking especially good at the moment, stocked with top quality, super local meat from trusted nearby farmers and small holders, along with some of our own home reared high welfare meat. Whether you are planning a hearty roast, a slow cooked stew, or something quick and easy, we have plenty of inspiration – We love chatting over a recipe swop!
Rain or shine, or even sideways drizzle and gales, we are here with the essentials, the treats and a warm welcome.
